Set of 4 Vintage Art Deco Style Heavy Black Wine Glassware

This set of 4 wine glasses are done in a beautiful art deco style and will definitely add a little funk to any occasion. Each glass is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. They stand 5 inches tall by 2.25 inches wide, the base is solid black glass and they are unmarked. The symmetrical thumbprint geometric design on the base of each glass is reminiscent of true Art Deco designs although these glasses are Art Deco revival. They are intended to be used as wine glasses, but could be used with any liquid that needs a stunning vessel.

Art deco style

Think these are original art deco, rather than art deco style. Records say two of the original pylons, cedar spires and some railing were salvaged and reused at the North Wayside.

And the southern ones (these I think) were reused at the south end. Hoorah!

So I believe what we have here is foreground art deco 1936, background 1988-1991 but in a design sympathetic to the original concept.
